Report Cards will be given out tomorrow at school. If your child is not at school, you will need to make arrangements to pick theirs up. We will not be mailing them, but you are welcome to come and pick them up any time this week. Also, anything that was left in lockers or desks will be donated or thrown away after tomorrow. Thank you for a wonderful year, and have a safe, relaxing summer of family fun!

Good evening, this is Tracie Wood, principal of Marsh Fork Elementary. We are still in full swing here at the school! Remember, attendance is counted every day and students are missing out on fun when they stay home!
All of our families are invited to join us in the gym, at 2:15 on Friday, after Water Day, for some freebies and fun to get ready for summer! We hope to see all of our families there!

Our PreK students had a great time at the Next Level Training Center in Sophia for their field trip! Music and games to keep our little bulldogs active and engaged! Then they had a picnic at the Sophia Park. Thank you Next Level Training for making the end of the year special!

Good evening, we want to inform you of a small fire that occurred in our school early this morning, which was contained to a single light fixture. The fire marshal has inspected our facility and cleared us to return to school tomorrow.
We are grateful for your understanding and support as we prioritize student safety above all else.
Good news: Since today was scheduled to be Hat Day, we're extending the fun! Students may wear their hats along with their crazy socks on Thursday as a way to celebrate Read Across America Week. Don’t forget that tomorrow is Wacky Wednesday! Mix your stripes! Clash your plaid! Dress super silly - mismatched and rad!
Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our school community safe.

This week is Read Across America Week! Don't forget our dress-up days to celebrate!
Monday - Manic Monday: Crazy Hair Day!
Spike it! Spray it! Twist it up high! The crazier the hair, the better the try!
Reading Fact for the Day: By age three, children read to regularly hear over 1 million more words than those not read to, providing a massive advantage in literacy and communication.

School Counseling Week is a timely reminder of the quiet, essential work happening in our schools every day.
This week, we recognize and thank our school counselors for the critical role they play in supporting students’ academic growth, social-emotional well-being, and future planning. Counselors are often the first to notice when a student is struggling—and the steady presence that helps them navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
From individual student support and crisis response to academic advising and career guidance, your work matters more than most people realize—and it truly changes lives.
If you see a school counselor today, take a moment to thank them.
Thank you to our school counselors for your compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to students. Our schools are stronger because of you.
