School Counseling Week is a timely reminder of the quiet, essential work happening in our schools every day.
This week, we recognize and thank our school counselors for the critical role they play in supporting students’ academic growth, social-emotional well-being, and future planning. Counselors are often the first to notice when a student is struggling—and the steady presence that helps them navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
From individual student support and crisis response to academic advising and career guidance, your work matters more than most people realize—and it truly changes lives.
If you see a school counselor today, take a moment to thank them.
Thank you to our school counselors for your compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to students. Our schools are stronger because of you.

Wow, Bulldogs! We had 100% attendance in K-5 today — that’s absolutely amazing! You all are showing up and showing out, making school a top priority, and we couldn’t be more proud.
Attendance used to be a tricky challenge, but with your help, we’re turning things around big time! Keep using those attendance magnets that were sent home to track your days, don’t forget to send in those excuses and parent notes, and keep bringing that Bulldog spirit every single day!
Let’s keep the streak alive and show everyone what Bulldogs are made of! 🐾💪

Students in grades 3-5 that plan to try out for a sport next week, must attend a CERP training with a parent prior to trying out. Final opportunities will be tomorrow at 3:45 PM and Tuesday, September 9th at 3:45 PM. Tryouts are on the 10th and 11th, so these will be the last training times.
